Surrender Policy
PA Pit Stop is unable to accept stray pets or pets being surrendered / rehomed by its current owner.
The following form is only for pre-approved surrender situations when an animal is being accepted into the Rescue. This form is most often used for recordkeeping when transferring animals between organizations (ie: from one rescue to another). This form is for internal use only, not for public or homeowner surrenders.
Surrender Forms completed without pre-approval will be disregarded.

At PA PitStop, we are committed to providing a safe haven for animals in need. As a foster based organization, foster homes are a critical part of our mission. We appreciate your help by opening your home to a foster pet. You are truly saving a life. The following Foster Contract is for Internal Use Only. If you are completing the Foster Contract, you have been through the Foster Application Process and have been approved as an official foster. If you are interested in being a foster and have not completed these steps, please visit the "Get Involved" tab at the top of the screen for more information.
